How to sell sports picks on Discord

Discord is where a lot of betting communities already live. Here's how to turn yours into a paid picks business: the server setup, fast delivery, a record people trust and payments you keep all of.

Updated October 26, 2026

Why cappers sell on Discord

Discord turns a list of picks into a room. Subscribers sweat games together, ask about bankroll, and stay longer because the community is part of what they pay for. It also costs nothing to run.

The weak spots are the parts Discord doesn't do: proving your record, taking payment, and posting picks fast without copy-pasting. That's what the rest of this guide covers.

Set up the server

  1. Create a server with a clear name: your brand, not “Picks Server”.
  2. Make a free channel (#free-picks) everyone can see. It's your shop window.
  3. Make a paid channel (#vip-picks) that only members with a paid role can see, using the channel's permissions.
  4. Add a results channel or link to your verified record, so new members can check your history.
  5. Pin your rules, including your refund policy and a responsible gambling note.

Post picks automatically

Copying the same pick into three channels is slow, and a late pick can miss the number. Connect the Stakkit bot once from Dashboard → Integrations, choose the channels it may post to, and tick them when you publish. Each pick is posted with the match, market, odds, stake and a link to your profile.

The bot only needs permission to view, send messages and embed links. For a private channel, give the bot's role access to it.

Control who sees paid picks

Stakkit posts to your channels but doesn't manage Discord roles. Two setups work well:

  • Paid picks on Stakkit, community on Discord. Lock paid picks to a package on Stakkit, where only paying subscribers can see them, and use Discord for free picks and chat.
  • A private Discord channel. Give paying subscribers a role by hand (your Subscriber Management list shows who's paying) and post paid picks there.

Prove your record

Screenshots in a #wins channel don't convince anyone anymore. Link your Stakkit profile instead: every pick is timestamped before the game, NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL singles are graded from the final score, and nothing can be deleted. Strong records also appear on the public leaderboard, where new subscribers find you.

Get paid without a revenue share

Subscribers pay through your own Stripe account, so the money is yours from the first sale. Stakkit charges one flat monthly fee and takes 0% of your revenue. See pricing, or read the full guide to selling sports picks.

Questions

Can I charge for access to a Discord server?
Yes. Most cappers sell a subscription and give paying members access to a private channel. Take payment on a platform you control and keep paid picks behind that subscription.
Is there a Discord bot that posts sports picks?
Yes. The Stakkit bot posts each pick to the channels you choose the moment you publish it, with odds, stake and a link to your verified record.
Does Stakkit assign Discord roles to subscribers?
Not yet. Stakkit posts picks to your channels; you manage roles in Discord. Paid picks can also stay locked on Stakkit for paying subscribers only.

Stop paying the 15% tax.

At $12k a month, every month you wait hands another $1,800 to a platform. Founding pricing ends when the last of the 10 spots is taken.
